Once you have the affiliate link for the product you wish to promote, it is important to verify that the link is properly formatted and accurately tracking your affiliate information. For this reason, we strongly encourage affiliates to test their links.
Follow these steps to test your affiliate link:
Step 1: To obtain your affiliate link, you may visit the JV or affiliate page of the seller. Alternatively, you can also generate your affiliate link from the Marketplace within your Explodely account.
Step 2: Follow the affiliate link by simply clicking on it or entering it into your browser's address bar. This will direct you to the seller's sales page.
Step 3: Click on the Pay button on the Sales page, and you will be redirected to the Explodely checkout page.
Step 4: Scroll to the bottom of the checkout page and find the “affiliate:” value. It should show your affiliate username registered with Explodely.
Upon seeing your username, you can be certain that your affiliate link is functioning correctly and any subsequent sale will be correctly attributed to you.
