In our article ActiveCampaign Integration, we showed you how to integrate your ActiveCampaign account with Explodely.


We’re excited to share that you can now connect up to 5 ActiveCampaign accounts under the same Explodely account.


This allows you to manage campaigns across multiple accounts more efficiently. 


Once you have integrated your first ActiveCampaign account by following the steps in the article ActiveCampaign Integration, you can add the next account by following the steps in this article.


ActiveCampaign 


Step 1: Generate an API Key for the second account.


a) Log in to your ActiveCampaign account and go to Settings-> Developer. 


b) Copy the API URL and the API Key in the Developer section.



Step 2: Set up Lists and Tags(if not already present)


a) Go to the Contacts page and click on Lists-> Add a List.



b) Enter the List name, URL and Description in the given fields.


The List URL in ActiveCampaign refers to a unique web address associated with a specific list in your account. This URL is generally used for API calls and integrations.


c) To create a tag, click on Tags-> Add Tags.



II 

Explodely


Step 1: Log in to your seller account and navigate to Seller Hub->Integrations.



Step 2: On the Integrations page, click on Email Automation-> Add New Email Automation.



In Explodely, the Integrations window displays the ActiveCampaign option in the dropdown, based on the number of accounts already connected. 


If no ActiveCampaign integration is connected, the dropdown shows only one option for ActiveCampaign.



If one ActiveCampaign integration is already connected, the dropdown shows ActiveCampaign2, which you can select to add a second account.



Similarly, if two ActiveCampaign integrations are already connected and you want to add another, the dropdown shows ActiveCampaign3, and so on.


Step 3: From the Email Service Available dropdown, select ActiveCampaign2 if you're adding the second account. 


Enter the ActiveCampaign URL and API key, and click Add New Email Automation.


Your second ActiveCampaign integration will be completed.


Step 4: After successfully integrating ActiveCampaign for the second account, go to Seller Hub-> Products -> Action -> Edit Product Details




To add the second ActiveCampaign Email integration to the product, go to Step 3 Integration Settings, select Active Campaign 2 in the Email Services dropdown. 



Then select the List from the list dropdown and enter/select Tags. And finally, save your selections.


Once updated successfully, you will receive a confirmation message - Successfully Updated. Click on Next and proceed to Submit Changes to finalise the process.


With multiple accounts connected, you can easily segment campaigns and test different automations without overlap.

Testing Integration
