Explodely allows affiliates to pass data through their affiliate links using custom parameters.
This feature is particularly useful for tracking campaigns and sending that information back to your CRM or tracking platform.
By adding one or more parameters to your affiliate link, you can ensure that the data flows automatically to the tracking system or your connected third-party tools.
Here is an example of the affiliate link with custom parameters:
https://sellerid.a.explodely.com/?aff=affid&pid=12345&tid={clickid}&affcup={rid}
In this example:
sellerid → Seller Username.
aff → Your Affiliate Username.
pid → Product ID.
tid → Tracking ID (e.g., Click ID from your ad network or CRM).
affcup → Custom parameter to pass additional data, such as a unique reference ID from your Affiliate Network.
Please note that the value you pass in the affcup parameter is visible to the sellers in their Explodely account.
Using Tokens Supported by Your CRM or Tracking Platform
Different platforms use different token formats.
You can adjust the tokens inside your affiliate link according to what your platform supports.
For example:
- RedTrack & Voluum uses {clickid}
- Everflow uses [clickid]
- Cake & HasOffers uses #clickid#
You can replace the token in your Explodely link with whichever format your platform uses.
We also have two additional custom parameters you can use to pass data in your Affiliate Link.
1. affp1
2. affp2
